If you’re self-conscious about cracked, broken, decayed, or worn teeth, we can bring back your healthy, natural-looking smile with the best dental crowns, inlays or onlays that are available.

What is the difference between crowns, inlays and onlays?

A crown can return structure, strength, and function to a tooth with extensive decay or damage. A crown is designed to fit snugly over a damaged tooth to function as a healthy tooth and protect your tooth from further damage.

Several different types of crowns are available and we use precise color matching which allows for a restoration that looks like your original tooth. With conscientious brushing and flossing daily and regular professional exams, crowns are extremely durable and long lasting.

If the tooth damage isn’t as severe, an inlay or an onlay may be the right restoration for you. Inlays and onlays are more conservative options that fit into a tooth similar to a filling. Inlays fit between cusps (the bumps on the top of a tooth), while onlays fit over one or more cusps. Inlays and onlays allow a patient to retain more natural tooth structure, which is usually best.

How do I decide which option is right for me?
